We’re excited to welcome Dr. Bennett Ezekiel, MD, MPH to the Pro-Care family! Having practiced pain management in the Austin area for many years, he joins us to serve patients with exceptional integrated care for their injuries sustained after an accident.
Get to know Dr. Ezekiel!
What is your education and work background in this field?
I completed Medical School at Texas Tech, followed by a Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the medical school in San Antonio. I also completed a Fellowship in Pain Management in the Department of Anesthesia at the same institution.
Do you have any awards or recognition in this field?
I’ve been recognized as one of Austin Monthly’s Best Doctors in Pain Management in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
What is your favorite part of the job?
Getting to know people.
What do you love most about working with patients?
Helping them understand what’s happening to their body that is causing the pain.
What is the best piece of health-related advice you’ve ever received?
Listen to your body.
How would you describe your personality?
An easygoing listener.
Favorite food and drink?
A burger and a beer at the Crown and Anchor Pub.
